Wilma Jean Scoggins



Wilma Jean Scoggins, 72, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at Hearthstone Nursing Center. Wilma was a long-time resident of the Rogue Valley, moving from Northern California to Ashland in 1969, and then to Medford in 1974. While a Medford resident, Wilma was employed as a secretary at the Rogue Valley Medical Center, retiring after almost twenty years of service in 1998.



Wilma's favorite pastimes were sewing, crafting, singing, shopping, and traveling. She is survived by her four children, Carol Kinney, Kevin, Stacy, and James, and their spouses; Terry, Ronda Scoggins, and Krista Scoggins; seven grandchildren, Ashley Maravilla, Sharayah, Kourtney, Keelia, Chandler, MaKayla, and Libby; and one great grandson.



All who knew Wilma and wish to honor her are invited to a memorial service at the Medford First Nazarene Church, 1974 E. McAndrews Rd., on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. A memorial will be established on the grounds of Rogue Valley Medical Center in the future.
