A long list of classes covering topics such as crafts, cooking, technology, music and gardening is offered in Central Point today as part of an Oregon State University Extension event known as the Carnival of Learning.

It's from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center, 569 Hanley Road, Central Point. A $3 fee covers four 90-minute classes.

The classes are open to adults and kids who are in at least 4th grade.
