Beth Baker will offer a showcase of American music featuring jazz, blues, ballads, gospel and songs from Broadway at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 5, at the Craterian Ginger Rogers Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford.

This is Bakerís fifth annual benefit for the Rogue Gallery & Art Center in Medford, a nonprofit community art center that holds a special place in her heart. Bakerís late father was a local artist who served on the gallery's board of directors.

Joining Baker on stage this year are her music arranger, Brent Olstad, on piano; Jeff Addicott on bass; and Theresa McCoy on drums. Her backup singers include Val Muse, Laura Grosz, Jade Watt, Karen Barrow, Frank Avila, Brian Fraser, Jim Abdo and John Contreras.

The concert is sponsored by Southern Oregon Subaru, Volvo and Mitsubishi. Tickets cost $15 to $23 and are available at the Craterian box office. See craterian.org or call 779-3000.
