Friday night brings films for free at several area libraries.

The Talent branch library at 101 Home St. hosts a free family movie night at 6 p.m. Tonight's feature is "Bolt," the animated tale of a spoiled German shepherd who stars in an action-packed TV show and believes he has the superpowers from his show. John Travolta and Miley Cyrus voice the main characters in this PG film released last year.

At the Ashland branch library, 410 Siskyou Blvd., it's movie night for teens at 6 p.m. Friends of the Ashland Library and the teen department present "Iron Man," a 2008 action movie starring Robert Downey Jr. It is rated PG-13. Pizza, snacks and popcorn will be provided.
