Pop star Sheryl Crow, country singer Trace Adkins and comic Howie Mandel are among the big-name entertainers who will perform at the Britt concerts this summer in Jacksonville.

Announced at a luncheon today at Britt's Medford offices, the lineup includes 29 shows of rock, pop, bluegrass, dance and more from June 12 to Sept. 12 sandwiched around Britt's classical season, which runs July 31 through Aug. 16.

Los Lonely Boys will open the season, and Government Mule will wrap it up. Headliners range from blues legend Etta James to veteran New Wave rockers Blondie to former Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir and RatDog to rocker/composer Elvis Costello with the rootsy Sugarcanes and Portland's own Pink Martini.

For the first time in memory, ticket prices are down. Diana Krall on Aug. 26 is the most expensive show at $85 and $33. More than a half dozen shows have lawn seats in the $20s and top out in the $30s.

Tickets go on sale to Britt members April 10 and to the public May 26. Visit www.brittfest.org, or call 773-6077.
