The Medford School District will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday to update the public on the construction of the new South Medford High School at Columbus and Cunningham avenues.

The Medford School District will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday to update the public on the construction of the new South Medford High School at Columbus and Cunningham avenues.

The meeting will convene at the old South Medford, 815 S. Oakdale Ave.

Most of the buildings are constructed at the 42-acre campus but still need to be filled in. In the next six months, Columbus will be widened, Cunningham and Columbus will be realigned, an asphalt overlay will be poured over Diamond and Warren Way, traffic signals will be mounted, cable lines will be moved, and storm drains will be installed.

The work is expected to delay traffic for up to 20 minutes.
