The Grizzlies picked up their seventh straight league victory Thursday, 7-1 over Eagle Point at North Mountain Park.

Charlie Sebrell (4-1) pitched six shutout innings, allowing four hits and striking out three. He also drove in two runs and scored once.

Ashland (12-3, 7-1 SSC) took the lead in the second inning. Ian Kendall doubled, went to third on a wild pitch and scored on a fielder's choice. Lucas Stone walked and came around to score on an error to make it 2-0.

A three-run sixth put the Grizzlies up 7-0 lead. Hayden Miller opened with a double and Charlie Sebrell delivered an RBI single. After Lewis Sebrell was hit by a pitch, Garrett Tygerson plated both runners with a single.

Kendall and Miller had two hits each for Ashland.

Tim Zomerdyk and Deric Allen collected a pair of hits for Eagle Point (6-7, 3-3).

CRATER 4, SOUTH MEDFORD 2 — Crater's Brittany Reeves pitched 41/3 innings of scoreless relief as Crater won the nonconference game at U.S. Cellular Community Park.

Reeves also provided the big hit — a two-run first inning single — and scored on an error as the Comets (6-9) went up 3-0.

South Medford (6-10) had bases loaded in the first two innings but could not score.

In the third, the Panthers loaded the bases on a fielder's choice by Whitney James and walks to Kandra Towry and Megan Hobson before an error on a fly ball by Jordan Jones scored two unearned runs.

Panther pitcher Dominique Newman didn't allow a runner in the last four innings.

Ellis, a junior, won the 100 (11.35), 200 (23.82) and 400 (53.55). Grieve took the long jump (18-31/2) and discus (109-4) and was third in the 110 hurdles (18.26).

Alex David of Prospect won the shot put (37-9) and was runner-up in the discus (103-11).

In girls, Prospect junior Kayla Pulley was second in the 200 (28.21).
