Get an update on construction of Medford's new high school in a community meeting organized tonight by school district officials.

It begins at 7 p.m. at the existing South Medford High at 815 S. Oakdale Ave. It's open to the public.

Most of the buildings are constructed at the new 42-acre campus at Columbus and Cunningham avenues but still need to be filled in. In the next six months, Columbus will be widened, Cunningham and Columbus will be realigned, an asphalt overlay will be poured over Diamond and Warren Way, traffic signals will be mounted, cable lines will be moved, and storm drains will be installed.

The work is expected to delay traffic for up to 20 minutes.
