Tickets sales have started for the Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo, set May 28-30 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Central Point.

The event is set for the second time in May after 25 years of October performances.

"The spring dates mean that all money won by cowboys goes towards qualifying for the National Finals Rodeo held in December in Las Vegas," says Melissa Damon, event coordinator for the fairgrounds.

The rodeo plans shows each of the three days, all beginning at 7 p.m.

Adult admission is $13 in advance and $15 at the gate for Thursday's show; $14 and $16 for Friday's and $16 and $18 for Saturday's. Reserved seats are available for Saturday's show.

Tickets are available at all PremierWest Bank locations (except at Rogue Valley Manor), Sherm's Thunderbird and Food 4 Less, Big R in White City and Cowboy Corral in Grants Pass.
