The North Medford Mavericks American A Legion baseball team received two electric pitching performances in a doubleheader sweep on Monday.

Jordan Frost and A.J. Doolittle both pitched two-hit shutouts for the Mavericks, who swept St. Mary's/Cascade Christian in back-to-back, five-inning 11-0 victories at North Medford High. Both games ended in five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.

In Game 2, Doolittle fanned two and walked one for the Mavericks (9-6).
