After suffering an opening-game loss, the Medford Mustangs' pitching staff seized control in the American Legion baseball nightcap Wednesday at Harry & David Field.

Pitchers Hayden Wolfe, Garrett Tygerson and Zack Earle combined to shut down the Vancouver Cardinals, while Chris Bradshaw provided the power as the Mustangs picked up a 10-2 victory.

The Cardinals won the first game 7-3.

Bradshaw went 4-for-5 in Game 2, scoring three runs and driving in three. He had a two-run double in the third inning, and Ian Kendall followed with a two-run single.

Kendall went 2-for-4 and added three RBIs.

In Game 1, Kendall was 3-for-4 for the Mustangs (17-4), who received two hits apiece from Earle, Bo Walker and Max Gordon.

Vancouver center fielder Kyrell Hudson, a third-round selection of the Philadelphia Phillies, went 2-for-3 in the opener.
