Ashland's City Council is seeking input on recently adopted council goals and draft values and vision statements.

The 15 goals represent concrete policy actions the council hopes to take by July 2011.

The draft values statement is meant to represent what is most important to the community. The draft vision statement describes a long-term vision of what an ideal Ashland would look like in 30 years.

The council will take public comment through September and adopt the final statements in November. It will review feedback on goals in January.

The goals and draft vision and values statements are posted on the city's Web site at www.ashland.or.us.

Members of the public can submit comments online or print out forms from the Web site and drop them off or mail them to Ann Seltzer, Ashland City Hall, 20 E. Main St., Ashland, OR 97520.
