The Oregon State Police didn't find too many people boating while intoxicated during a weekend crackdown from the mouth of the Rogue River to Foster Bar.

Working in conjunction with the Curry County Sheriff's Office, police checked on more than 50 boaters this past weekend.

Sgt. Isaac Cyr of the state police's Fish and Wildlife Division says two boaters were arrested for drunk boating. Several other boaters were cited for having no life jackets on board. Many others were warned for not carrying the required boating safety equipment.
