Patricia F. White



Patricia F. White, 77, of Central Point, Ore., died on Monday, July 13, 2009 at Heartstone Manor in Medford.

A beloved wife, mother, teacher, author and friend, she made life easier for all around her. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Charles "Bill" White, Central Point, Ore.; brother, John "Bud" Lucas, Eddyville, Ore.; sons, John White, Central Point, Ore., and Greg White, Reno, Nev.; daughter, Terria White, Central Point, Ore.; granddaughters, Jennifer Quintela, Midland, Texas and Rylee White, Eagle Point, Ore.; grandson, Kelly White, Central Point, Ore.; and great-grandsons, Lucas Quintela and Marcus Quintela, Midland, Texas.

Patricia was a long-time resident of Eagle Point before moving to Central Point in recent years. She was a graduate of Eagle Point High School and Southern Oregon University. She taught Language Arts at Crater High School before stepping down to become a full-time, successful author in several different genres.

At Patricia's request, an intimate, private memorial service will be conducted next week. No other service is planned. Tohse wishing to remember her are asked to make a memorial contribution to the World Wildlife Fund or to Hospice Care at Rogue Valley Medical Center.
