Oregon Stage Works will extend its run of "Shirley Valentine," a one-woman comedy, through Monday, Aug. 3. The play tells the story of a Liverpool housewife — played by Helene de Crespo — who breaks from her stifled life when a friend wins a paid vacation for two in Greece. OSW's production was called "uproarious and a joy" by local theater critic Robert Miller. Performances are slated for 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays and 2 p.m. Sundays.
