Rebekah Hutson and Anthony Abbott were married March 21 at Jacksonville Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville. Pastor Larry Jung officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Mary Anne Hutson of Medford. A 2007 graduate of Cascade Christian High School, she is pursuing a degree in counseling at Rogue Community College. She is a JV cheer leading coach at Crater High School in Central Point.

The groom is the son of Leslie Abbott of Yuba City, Calif., and Patricia Shaw of Medford. A 2005 graduate of North Medford High School, he is pursuing a degree in engineering physics at Southern Oregon University with the intention of attending graduate school for electrical engineering. He is a sales associate at Albertsons, Inc., in Medford.

Matrons of honor were the bride's sisters, Emily Christie of Central Point and Jessica Willard of Medford. Bridesmaids were Nakesha Morgan of Central Point and Ruby O'Fennel of Medford.

Best man was the groom's brother, Joshua Abbott of Central Point. Groomsmen were Bryce Wheeler of Medford, Ty Ryan of Monmouth and Dustin Passey of Medford.

Flower girl was the bride's niece, Donnelly Christie of Central Point. Ring bearers were the bride's nephews, Benjamin and Liam Christie of Central Point.

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the U.S. Hotel Ballroom in Jacksonville.

After an eight-day wedding trip to Disneyland, the newlyweds are living in Medford.
