The Medford Parks and Recreation Department has announced that heat has forced the rescheduling of today's 6:30 p.m performance by Salsa Brava at Bear Creek Park. The show was part of the free concert series at the park's amphitheater.

Organizers said Salsa Brava will perform Aug. 19 instead, when the weather should be more comfortable for the musicians and audience, and even amenable to dancing.

Weather permitting, the series will continue next week with the Nashville sounds of Jason Johnston and Mike Boren.
