U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will present medals to local veterans and answer questions from constituents during a town hall meeting scheduled Thursday in Medford.

U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., will present medals to local veterans and answer questions from constituents during a town hall meeting scheduled Thursday in Medford.

The meeting will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the Abraham Lincoln Elementary School gymnasium, 3101 McLoughlin Drive, Medford. Doors open at 10 a.m.

The town hall will start with a ceremony in which Wyden will present medals to three local veterans and honor two local women who have been awarded the Congressional Gold Medal for their service in the Women's Airforce Service Pilots.

Wyden holds town halls in each of Oregon's 36 counties every year. The event in Medford is number 522 since 1996. It is his 29th town hall this year.
