Paving work will at times limit Interstate 5 near the South Medford interchange to one lane in the northbound or southbound lanes at night this week.

The Oregon Department of Transportation said the northbound lanes were scheduled to be paved Monday and Tuesday nights, while the southbound lanes will be paved Wednesday and Thursday nights. Paving work will occur between 7 p.m. and 6:30 a.m.

Drivers are cautioned to be aware of a 2-inch lip between lanes at times during the paving project.
