The social service agency ACCESS Inc. is teaming up with an Ashland restaurant and Medford winery in September to raise money for its food programs for low-income people.

The fundraising dinner is from 5:30-8:45 p.m. Sept. 1 at Amuse Restaurant, 15 N. First St., Ashland. Cost will be $50 per person.

Participants will dine on a watermelon and roasted beet salad, leg of lamb with Israeli couscous and chocolate truffles prepared by Amuse chef Erik Brown. Velocity Cellars winemaker Gus Janeway will showcase wines paired with each of the courses.

ACCESS hopes to raise $6,000 in the event, it said in a news release. The organization's food program provides food for more than 3,200 Jackson County families each month.
