Glenn and Donna Boles of Grants Pass, formerly of Eagle Point, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Applegate Ranch House and Restaurant.

Glenn and Donna Boles of Grants Pass, formerly of Eagle Point, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Applegate Ranch House and Restaurant.

Glenn Boles married Donna Rowe on Aug. 7, 1959, in Medford.

Glenn moved to Central Point when he was 17. He graduated from Crater High School and went to work in the plywood industry in the Rogue Valley as a jipo spreaderman.

Glenn has enjoyed fishing, hunting and working on their 20-acre farm in Eagle Point, where he and Donna raised their children. He retired in 1984.

Donna was born in Ashland and worked in White City for 24 years as a sales coordinator for Reichhold Chemicals and Georgia Pacific.

She retired in 2000. She enjoyed raising their children, sewing and playing bridge.

Glenn and Donna moved to Grants Pass in 2000.

They have four children, Drew Boles, Rebecca Blust, Jerred Boles and Tisha Takacs. They also have five grandchildren.
