Medford police have moved back into City Hall, the last of the city departments to settle in to new space after an 11-month remodeling project.

The city manager, city recorder and finance and human resources departments, moved back into third floor offices at City Hall, 411 W. Eighth St., in late August after using temporary quarters at the Microvellum Inc. building at West Sixth Street while the update was under way.

Municipal Court, technical services and some engineering employees returned to City Hall Sept. 12 from their temporary Main Street quarters in the Carnegie building next to Alba Park.

The police, who had also been in the Carnegie building, were the final department to move back last weekend, officials said.

The Parks and Recreation Department is now housed in the Santo Community Center, 701 N. Columbus Ave.
