Brian Thompson hit his first hole-in-one on the 159-yard ninth hole at Quail Point Golf Course with a 7-iron on Sept. 14.
Jim Overmyer earned his first ace on Sept. 13 at Cedar Links Golf Course. It came on the eighth hole from 125 yards out with a 9-iron.
Overmyer's playing partners were Jim Bullen and Dennis Poncia.
Toni Nieto scored a hole-in-one on the sixth hole at Rogue Valley Country Club. She used a 6-iron to nail the 126-yard shot.
Tori Nieto and Tammie Allen witnessed the shot.
Track and Field
Dan Bulkley of Phoenix has been named masters male track and field athlete of the year by the USATF.
The sport's national governing body met last weekend in Sunriver.
Bulkley was recognized for his performances at both the Oregon and national championship meets this past summer.
At each, he captured the 100, 200, 400 and 800 meters in the 90-94 age division.
