Investigators looking for the cause of the Deer Ridge fire that burned nearly 650 acres on the flanks of Roxy Ann Peak are asking for the public's help.

Investigators looking for the cause of the Deer Ridge fire that burned nearly 650 acres on the flanks of Roxy Ann Peak are asking for the public's help.

Oregon Department of Forestry, Medford fire department and Medford police are investigating the blaze, which is believed to be human caused.

The fire started about 2:30 p.m. Monday near the intersectioin of of Deer Ridge and Vista Point drives.
