A committee examining a plan to construct a $100 million bypass road along Highway 62 meets tonight for an update.

The state’s Highway 62 Corridor Citizens Advisory Committee and development team meets from 6 to 8 p.m. in Room 184 at the Table Rock campus of Rogue Community College, 7800 Pacific Ave., White City. It’s open to the public.

The group will provide an overview of the project, which would extend from the Poplar Drive area in Medford to near White City, talk about how the project will mesh with roads and businesses in the area, discuss access for bicyclists and pedestrians and talk about the next steps in the project.
