An east Medford street's annual food drive kicks off Sunday night.

Residents of Greystone Court, a cul-de-sac west of North Phoenix Road, decorate all homes on the street with lights every year and for eight years have asked people who come to see the lights to bring food that can be donated to ACCESS Food Share.

Residents will collect food from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. daily through Dec. 24. Santa and his llama reindeer will be on hand to greet kids, and the Sweet Adelines will be on the street singing Christmas carols.

Last year, residents collected 9,273 pounds of food and $18,047 to help provide more than 100,000 meals, say ACCESS officials.
