Wayne VanBlarcom married Judy Carmen on Nov. 24, 1959, in Reno, Nev.

Judy worked for the Ashland Daily Tidings for 24 years before retiring in March 1997.

They enjoy traveling, camping, gardening, hunting and spending time with family.

The VanBlarcoms have two daughters, Tory (Steve) Horvath and Shannon (Mike) Hertel. They also have seven grandchildren.
