Myrna Watson Satterfield



Myrna Watson Satterfield, 75, of Central Point, Oregon, formerly of Blackfoot, Idaho passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009 at Rogue Valley Hospital in Medford, Ore.



She was born September 24, 1934, in Blackfoot, Idaho, the daughter of Walter Lowell Watson and Aileen Leavitt. She was raised in Pingree, Idaho and graduated from Snake River High School in 1952.



On June 3, 1976, she married Kenneth J. Satterfield in Durrant, Okla. She had lived in Pingree, Idaho, Garden Grove, Calif., Irving, Texas, and Enumclaw, Wash.



She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She retired from Suburban Propane where she had worked as a bookkeeper for 10 years. She enjoyed gardening and ceramics.



She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of Medford, Ore.; son, Greg (Janine) Satterfield of Puyallup, Wash.; daughters, Terry L. (Jessie) Clark of Prescott, Ariz., Sheri K. Smith of Medford, Ore., Debbie L. (Vince) Sainati of Buckley, Wash. and Cheryl Herdman of Henderson, Nev.; sisters, Donna (Gil) Barnard of Blackfoot, Idaho and Charlotte Allen of Lodi, Calif; sixteen grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger Watson; and a grandchild.



A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 2, 2010, at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 S. Shilling Ave., Blackfoot, Idaho.



The family will meet with friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
