Jeff Parker, 47, of Ashland, Ore., passed away at his home Wednesday, December 23, 2009.
Jeff spent a large part of his life in Salem, Ore., until 1989 when he moved to Ashland. Jeff loved an array of music and danced his way through life. He also loved Taco Bell, Dr. Pepper, basketball, the coast, playing "air guitar" and working for ACES, in Ashland, Ore.
Many people were the recipients of Jeff's practical jokes. He had a wonderful sense of humor and kept people laughing until his last days.
Jeff grew up with his close friends, Leslie, Marty and Wesley Rush and their extended family. They attended a Grateful Dead concert, ran on the beaches and hiked Southern Oregon together, giving Jeff a full life of love, dignity, respect and fun.
In his final months, Jeff was comforted by Ashland Hospice, Pathway (Evergreen and Nursing) staff and his best friend, John, all of whom love and miss him greatly.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at his home on Saturday, January 9, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please RSVP to Elisa at 541-973-5000.
