Jackson County Fire District No. 5 is collecting clothes and other supplies for a Talent father and two teenage children who lost all their belongings and a beloved pet in a house fire Wednesday morning in the 10700 block of Wagner Creek Road.

Jackson County Fire District No. 5 is collecting clothes and other supplies for a Talent father and two teenage children who lost all their belongings and a beloved pet in a house fire Wednesday morning in the 10700 block of Wagner Creek Road.

People have been bringing in cash and clothes throughout the day, said Brady Graham, volunteer firefighter with District 5. Two teenagers brought in $10; a woman brought a suitcase stuffed with clothes, he said.

Donations for Jack Shaw, 61, and his children, Jack Jr. and Cassie, both Phoenix High School students, may be dropped off at the District 5 station, 5811 S. Pacific Highway. The station's phone number is 541-535-4222.

Jack Sr. wears 36 x 32 pants, extra-large shirt and size 10 shoes. Jack Jr. wears 30 x 30 pants, medium-size shirt and size 91/2 shoes. Cassie wears a size 7 in dress or pants, medium or large junior shirt and size 81/2 shoes.

The Red Cross gave the family a voucher for a temporary hotel room.
