Princess for a Day, a Rogue Valley organization that gives away used formals to girls who can't afford a new dress for prom, has scheduled a fashion show from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 27, at Deb Shop in the Rogue Valley Mall.

Newly crowned Miss Rogue Valley Kelsey Weaver, and Miss Rogue Valley's Outstanding Teen, Kylie Smith, will appear.

Admission to the fashion show is free with a donation of a nonperishable food item for ACCESS Inc. Raffle tickets for more than $1,000 worth of prizes such as gift certificates to hair, nail and tanning salons and other accessories will be sold.

Silver Ridge Outfitters will have a princess carriage at the mall and people can have photographs taken in it for $3.

Anyone who donates a used, but still fashionable, prom dress in good condition will get an in-store credit, organizers said. All proceeds from the fashion show events benefit Princess for a Day.

Gowns and accessories will be available to those who need them April 11 at Rogue Regency Inn. For details about that event or donating dresses or other items, visit the Web site www.roguevalleyprincessforaday.com.
