Zachary Mckenzie-Cook of Medford and Kimberly Scallon of Central Point, both 5, were crowned Pear Blossom Junior Royalty king and queen Saturday during the 57th annual Pear Blossom Junior Royalty Coronation, Medford's oldest pageant. They were chosen from a field of more than 30 children. First runners-up were Kylie Kinsella and William Wass; second runners-up were Autumn Slayton and Alexander Davis; and third runners-up were Jade West and Nicholas Buddle.

The king and queen and their court will ride in a float at the Pear Blossom parade on April 10, and all Junior Royalty participants will ride in a trolley sponsored by AllAboard Trolley of Shady Cove.

The 5-year-old contestants were judged on poise, personality and appearance.
