Eugenia H. Antley


Eugenia passed away May 13, 2010, of heart/lung related illness. She was 86. She was born in Cope, S.C., on Feb. 28, 1924, to Richmond and Flossie Hughes. She married Thomas Antley in August 1944. They moved to the Medford, Ore. area in 1947, where they lived until her passing. She was a loving wife and mother to her two boys. She was a school teacher at Oak Grove Elementary for 17 years, before her retirement. She earned her master's degree from Southern Oregon University. Her hobbies were spending time at the coast, puttering in their yard, crocheting and traveling to Arizona in the winter.

Survivors include her husband; sons, Thomas Jr., of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Mike and daughter in-law, Leslie, from Eugene, Ore.; sister, Catherine Harper, of Tampa, Fla.; three grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
