Donald Clyde Jolliffe



Donald Clyde Jolliffe, 77, of Medford, Ore., passed away May 18, 2010.



He was born October 12, 1932, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Aberdeen, Wash., to Willard Donald (Shorty) and Frances Elizabeth (Fran). In 1954-1956, Donald spent time as a military policeman for the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He then worked for 38 years as a timber faller for MEDCO in Butte Falls, Ore.



Raising and caring for his horses came first for Donald, along with hunting and being an all-around outdoorsman.



He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances; father, Shorty; brothers, Lee and Larry; and three wives, Gail, Darlene and Barbara. Donald is survived by his sons, Greg (Gayle) Jolliffe and Robert (Sherri) Jolliffe; grandsons, Grant and Sean; granddaughter, Tiffany; and great-grandson, Brad.



A graveside memorial is to be held on May 24, 2010, 1:00 p.m., at Siskiyou Memorial Park, with John Braun officiating. Visitation will be held on May 24, 2010, at 12:00 p.m., at Perl Funeral Home.
