Corine Muriel Garrett



Corine Muriel Garrett, 74, of Medford, Ore., died peacefully Monday, May 24, 2010, at Rogue Valley Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minn. On Sept. 6, 1957, in Medford, she married Charles William Garrett.



Corine was a Medford High School graduate, retired Bear Creek employee, and homemaker. She was a long time member of Zion Lutheran Church, and was the Church Council president until her death. She enjoyed many hobbies, including ceramics, gardening, square dancing, RV'ing, being an avid pinochle player, and most of all, being a grandma.



Survivors include two sons, Doug Garrett and Jeff Garrett; and a daughter, Pam Garrett; two sisters, Elaine Baker and Virginia Garner; and four grandchildren, Hayden, Holden, Conner, and Kristen.



Preceding her in death, were her husband, Charles; and her parents, Lester and Margaret Ellis.



Friends may pay their respects at a viewing from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2010, at Perl Funeral Home, Siskiyou Chapel.



The funeral for Corine Muriel Garrett will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 29, 2010, at Zion Lutheran Church, 516 W. 4th St., Medford. Pastor Cyril Hunkler will be officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 516 W. 4th St., Medford, Ore. 97501.
