The Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra takes audiences on a musical tour of South America in a performance on the Elizabethan Stage on the Oregon Shakespeare Festival campus, 15 S. Pioneer St., Ashland.

The Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra takes audiences on a musical tour of South America in a performance on the Elizabethan Stage on the Oregon Shakespeare Festival campus, 15 S. Pioneer St., Ashland.

The group of talented teens take the stage at 8 p.m. and will perform dance music of Panama, Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla's "Nuevo Tango," a marimba concerto by Brazilian composer Ney Rosauro, and a new work titled "Lights, Fog, Wind, Grasses" written for the orchestra by Gabriella Smith of Berkeley.

In the event of rain, the concert will be moved to the Angus Bowmer Theatre.
