Chandra Lynn Chambers



Chandra Lynn Chambers passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2010, at the age of 45, at her home in Medford, Ore. She was born on May 19, 1965, in Santa Maria, Calif., to Leon Kothe, of Santa Maria, and Sharon Brown, of Roseburg. Chandra moved to Medford in 1981, where she met Todd Chambers, her husband of 28 years. She attended Medford Senior High School, and graduated in 1983. At the time of her passing, her husband and love of her life was by her side. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and grandma.



Chandra is survived by her husband, Todd Chambers; four beautiful daughters, Tara, Tiffany, Talia and Tresa Chambers; two grandsons, Caiden and Anthony; her sister, Deana Petersen, all of Medford.



Chandra spent as much time with her family as possible. She planned many camping and coast trips. All friends were considered family. Her hobbies included working in her garden, shopping and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Chandra spent her time making sure that her family was cared for and loved. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Marjorie Kothe and Shirley Strom; grandfathers, Leo Kothe and Kenneth Strom; father, Leon Kothe; sister Sandra Kothe; brother, Kenny Sinclair; and sister-in-law, Brenda Possinger.



Occupations Chandra held involved helping others. She worked for Jackson County Mental Health as a skills trainer, earned her real estate brokers license in 2005 with John L. Scott, was an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay and owned and operated Chandra's Daycare. She was a very caring person whom many depended on. She was a wonderful wife and mother who put all others before herself.



After a long and tough fight against breast cancer, she was taken from us too soon.



Her loving heart, guidance, giving personality, and genuine caring for others has made a difference in all of those who knew her. We will remember her forever.A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., with services to start at 1:00 p.m. at the New Beginnings Church, 5889 Hwy 62, Central Point, OR.
