Loren M. Glenn



Loren Malcolm Glenn, 70, of Medford, Ore., passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, at Rogue Valley Medical Center. He was born November 30, 1939, in Table Rock, Ore., to Lula Glenn and Benjamin (Frank) Glenn.



Loren was a Vietnam veteran and after 20 years of service in the Army he retired as sergeant, first class E7. After retirement, he worked for a local newspaper distributor for over 20 years. He was a regular at Parkside Restaurant and enjoyed golf, fishing, camping, drawing, oil painting, playing guitar and gardening.



Survivors include siblings, Dorinda (Bob) Engel, of Central Point, Ore., Russell (Gerri) Glenn, of Medford, Ore., Dwight Glenn, of Phoenix, Ore., Dennis (Bonnie) Glenn, of Portland, Ore.; children, David Glenn and Daniel Leroy Glenn, both of Beverton, Ore., Gary Glenn, of Yukaipa, Calif., Tammy Wheeler, of Central Point, Ore., and Dennis and Leslie Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Darrell Glenn and Lyle Glenn.



Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 26, 2010, at 3:00 p.m., at Perl at Siskiyou with Kevin Gowland officiating.
