CAVE JUNCTION — Food, games for the kids, a flea market, music and more are planned July 3 during River Rush, a fundraiser for the Josephine County Food Bank and a butterfly pavilion at the Rusk Ranch Nature Center near Cave Junction.

CAVE JUNCTION — Food, games for the kids, a flea market, music and more are planned July 3 during River Rush, a fundraiser for the Josephine County Food Bank and a butterfly pavilion at the Rusk Ranch Nature Center near Cave Junction.

The event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 27750 Redwood Highway, near Philips Auto Wrecking. Admission is $5 for adults, $1 for youth 12 to 18 and free for others.

Entertainment will include the Oregon Little Big Band, Suzanne Hamilton Dancers, Paul Hendrshott guitar and Kamie Clarke vocals, Charley Brown Squares, Alchemystical Workshop Nature Theatre and Timeless singing group.

The event also will include a visit from wild cats from Great Cats World Park in Cave Junction, remote-controlled off-road toy car racing and a river trail opening.
