The Havana Club will perform a blend of contemporary Latin music, Afro-Cuban rhythms and horn arrangements from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at Characters Lounge at the Red Lion Hotel, 200 N. Riverside Ave., Medford.

The Havana Club will perform a blend of contemporary Latin music, Afro-Cuban rhythms and horn arrangements from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Sunday, June 27, at Characters Lounge at the Red Lion Hotel, 200 N. Riverside Ave., Medford.

Salsa, cha-cha, merengue and bolero for dancing will be presented.

The group features musicians from the Ashland band Salsa Brava, including Mike Fitch on timbales, Jacob Ackerman on bass, Anne Muth on keys, vocalist Christina Marsilia on flute, Fred Morgan on percussion, Marshal Mueller on saxophone and Cody Bustamante on congas.

The group also will perform from 10 p.m. to midnight Sunday, July 4, at El Nuevo Tapatio, 1633C Highway 99, Ashland.
