Klezmer fusion band The Red Hot Chachkas will perform songs from its new CD, "Beats without Borders," at 8:30 p.m. Friday, June 25, at CultureWorks, 310 Oak St., Ashland. The new album holds original melodies that melding klezmer with old time, jazz, Latin and Calypso traditions. The band is Julie Egger on violin, Barbara Speed on clarinet, Tony Phillips on mandolin, Aaron Seeman on accordion, Michael Arrow on drums and Breck Diebel on bass.
