Two Oregon Conservatory of Performing Arts actors won awards in an annual National Youth Theatre competition, and two others and an ensemble were recognized as nominees.

The awards for the 2009-10 season were for Medford-based OCPA's production last summer of "Oliver ... with a Twist," OCPA said in a news release about the awards.

Winners included Isaac Cosand, supporting actor in a musical for students 13 and younger, and Emily Pahl, supporting actress in a musical for students 13 and younger.

Nominees from Southern Oregon included Ashton Roxander, lead actor, 13 and younger; Sarah Tewksbury, supporting actress in a musical; and the ensemble of "Oliver ... with a Twist."

An awards ceremony is set for July 11.

OCPA offers an annual series of summer camps that teach students acting skills and allow them to participate in a production.
