Lithia Motors has purchased another Oregon dealership and sold one in California.

The Medford-based auto retailer announced today it has acquired Honda of Bend and picked up the Chevrolet and Cadillac franchises from Bob Thomas Chevrolet Cadillac in the Central Oregon city.

The nation's ninth largest auto retailer said the deal will add $35 million in estimated annual revenues.

Lithia also announced the sale of its Fresno, Calif., Dodge store to Fresno Chrysler Jeep Inc. The dealership had an estimated $17 million in sales.

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Sid DeBoer said the deals aided the company's long-term goal of greater diversity among the brands it sells. Lithia has historically been weighted toward Chrysler products.

Lithia has 84 stores in 12 states not counting a pending acquisition in Montana.
