The ceremony is set at 10 a.m. at the corner of Ross Lane and Sweet Road in Medford. Mayor Gary Wheeler will speak.

The organization intends to build 10 homes at the site in what it is calling the Sweet Place Subdivision, it said in a news release.

Four families who will live in homes to be built at the site will attend Saturday's ceremony.

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian-based nonprofit organization that builds homes in partnership with the people who will live in them.
