The AJGA Junior-Am is Aug. 16 and precedes the junior tourney. The Junior-Am is open to local players and teams and provides an opportunity to play alongside top juniors. Proceeds go to hosting the AJGA tournament Aug. 17-19, which will have a 132-player field. Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Paula Creamer are all AJGA alumni. To participate, contact Centennial at 541-773-4653 or tournament chairman Chris White at 678-425-1712.

Centennial Golf Club features a 7,309-yard layout designed by two-time PGA Tour winner and 1977 U.S. Amateur Champion John Fought.
