Oregon storyteller Christopher Leebrick brings world folk tales, legends, whoppers and original stories to a handful of Jackson County libraries this week, including two today.

Leebrick, an actor who founded the Lord Leebrick Theatre Company in Eugene, will appear at 11:30 a.m. at the Central Point Branch Library, 116 S. Third St., and at 2:30 p.m. at the Jacksonville Branch Library, 340 W. C St. The presentations are free.

He also appears at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Ashland; at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Phoenix, at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Prospect; at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Shady Cove; at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Eagle Point; at 1 p.m. Thursday at White City; at 4 p.m. Thursday at Ruch; and at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Talent.
