The fast lanes of Interstate 5 at the Seven Oaks Interchange will be closed for overnight work starting tonight and continuing for several nights, Oregon Department of Transportation officials said.

Crews are installing barriers, so both the north- and southbound the fast lanes will be closed from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. tonight, Tuesday and Wednesday.

The barriers are some of the final work on the project to remake exit 35 and bridges over the railroad tracks. The speed limit is 55 mph in the interstate work zone and drivers should be alert for equipment entering and leaving the work zone.
