Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Medford is offering a series of classes to help people whip their finances into shape.

— Budgeting Made Easy, offered Wednesday, Oct. 6, provides an in-depth look at creating a personal budget, setting financial goals, reducing spending and organizing money. The class runs 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.— Understanding Your Credit Report, offered Wednesday, Oct. 13, helps people understand how to read reports, get your credit score, learn how to improve it and correct errors. Everyone is eligible to get a free copy of their credit report from Experian, Trans Union and Equifax). The class runs 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.— 10 Steps to Home Ownership, offered Saturday, Oct. 16, breaks down the process of purchasing a home into 10 easy-to-follow steps. Reviewing your finances, credit and credit score, as well as shopping for a loan and working with a real estate agent are covered. The class runs 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Classes are held at 820 Crater Lake Ave., Suite 202. Registration is required and fees are $10 per class.
