Just opened in August, The Dugout snagged Readers' Choice voters' pick for Best New Restaurant.

Owned by Karen and Joe Hall, The Dugout features 25 TVs, arcade games, Xboxes, pool table and individual in-booth television sets to cover every possible desire for away-from-home entertainment.

Dugout employee Jennifer McKenzie, who helped open the restaurant after Cyber Center relocated near WinCo, said the focus of The Dugout was to create a hangout for local families to enjoy good food and entertainment while spending time together.

"Everyone seems to love it so far," McKenzie said.

The restaurant, at 943 Automation Way, off Biddle Road, features bar-and-grill style foods such as burgers, pasta dishes, chicken sandwiches and pizzas.
