Medford attorney Bryan Blodgett was named Best Attorney for his work in family law, helping people through some of the toughest times of their lives.

"He's a very kind, quiet, unassuming man when you have an interview with him," says Kathi Sackett, Blodgett's legal assistant.

"In the courtroom, he is very professional but very much an advocate for his clients. He's always well-prepared and he represents his clients with a passion."

Blodgett, 52, graduated from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Okla., in 1984 and passed the Oregon Bar in 1985.

A year later, he joined Grantland, Smith & Grensky in Medford. A quarter-century later, the practice has evolved to Grantland, Blodgett, Shaw & Abel LLP with Blodgett still helping families in everything from divorce to custody issues to criminal cases.
